Wilful defaulters to be brought to justice: Centre
Amid a raging row over loan defaults by Vijay Mallya, minister of state for finance, Jayant Sinha, said "full force of the law" is being applied to bring all wilful loan defaulters to justice. All investigative agencies are working to bring them to justice, he said without naming Mallya.

RBI moves on banks' bad loans in the right direction, says IMF chief
"The (move of) Reserve Bank of India governor (Dr Raghuram Rajan) addressing bank balance sheets is absolutely right," Lagarde said at the Advancing Asia conference. She added that the Indian government was also moving to get a bankruptcy and insolvency law enacted to address the bad loans problem.
