Private companies rush to turn LLPs before April 1 for tax sop
The popularity of limited liability partnerships (LLPs) may diminish from April 1, as the Finance Bill has inserted a new clause which restricts the tax neutrality on conversion of private companies into LLPs. This has resulted in a sudden rush of companies which wish to convert into LLPs.
